Boca vs Defensa y Justicia Match Time Changed

The authorities of the Professional League informed that the time of the match between Boca and Defensa y Justicia has been moved 15 minutes earlier. Therefore, the match, which was supposed to take place next Sunday at La Bombonera at 6:30 PM, has been rescheduled to 6:15 PM for organizational reasons. The match corresponds to the tenth round of the Apertura Tournament of the Professional League Cup.

The Boca squad trained at the Ezeiza complex, and head coach Fernando Gago began to have doubts about the team formation. Initially, Gago planned to send "the usual eleven" onto the field of the xeneize coliseum. However, doubts arose due to the muscle discomfort that Kevin Zenón continues to feel. Although no serious injury was detected after medical examinations earlier in the week, he could not practice football today like the rest of the starters.

"Midfielders Ignacio Miramón and Camilo Rey Domenech are ruled out for the match against Defensa y Justicia due to their injuries," said Gago. The coach held a practice with two matches against the club's youth players, forming different teams to maintain the players' expectations.

Boca would have a probable lineup for Sunday with: Agustín Marchesín; Lucas Blondel, Lautaro Di Lollo, Marcos Rojo, Lautaro Blanco; Carlos Palacios, Ander Herrera or Rodrigo Battaglia, Milton Delgado, Kevin Zenón or Tomás Belmonte; Milton Giménez and Edinson Cavani.

Defender Nicolás Figal, in the final stage of his recovery after surgery on his left ankle, could rejoin the squad at the end of this month. On the other hand, forward Nicolás Orsini is expected to be loaned to Platense for a year, as he does not fit into Gago's plans at Boca.

Additionally, right-back Lucas Blondel has been called up to join the Swiss national team for the upcoming FIFA commitments, facing Northern Ireland and Luxembourg on March 23 and 25, respectively.
